A26 is a student led VC operating out of Los Angeles, California.

We believe that innovation starts in academia. The companies that change our world were founded by students while they were still in university.

What do we believe?

We believe that innovation starts in academia. The companies that change our world were founded by students while they were still in university. Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Yahoo, Reddit, Snapchat, and Uber (built by a Bruin!) were all developed by founders rich with resources from their academic institutions.

Why early stage startups

We're a venture capital firm founded and operated by superstar aspiring VC's and startup operators. We were brought together by our shared mission to uplift early-stage startup founders. We're rooted at the source of innovation, finding and investing in the next generation of technology-driven founders building world-changing businesses.

Who are our LPs?

We're funded by students, alumni, and friends & family of UCLA. It’s a Bruin value to #sharesuccess, so unlike other VC funds, we use our diverse LP network to support the founders we back. Interested in being an LP? Keep reading and connect with Sydney.

What is A26?

A26, named after the Anderson MBA Class of 2026, focuses on general areas of interest to the students at UCLA. This year, we're focused on climate-tech, health-tech, AI/data, prop-tech, and fin-tech. Founder hoping to get in-touch? Ask for an introduction to any of us through someone associated with UCLA (student, alumni, faculty, advisor... the options are limitless!)
